Housing Commissioner Shri Inderjeet Singh visited the ongoing schemes in Jaipur on Friday and gave the necessary directions after conducting a thorough inspection of the offices. He said that officers and engineers should ensure quality in development works and complete the works on time so that the citizens benefit quickly.
Shri Singh inspected the ongoing Fountain Square, and Botanical Garden projects in Mansarovar, the AIS Residency Phase-I project in Pratapnagar, and 200 feet Ganga Marg in Indira Gandhi Nagar. He had a detailed discussion with Chief Minister’s Special Officer Shri Vikas Rajpurohit on the expansion plan of the proposed public hearing centre at the Deputy Housing Commissioner Circle Office of Mansarovar, and he also visited the coaching hub located in Pratapnagar. Also, Shri Singh conducted a surprise inspection of the Deputy Housing Commissioner Circle office in Pratapnagar and Mansarovar Chopati.
He said that, keeping in view the inauguration of the ongoing projects by Honorable Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma in the coming days, the officers concerned should complete the pending works soon. The engineers concerned should stick to only quality materials in development and construction work. If the assigned work is not completed on time, the responsibility will be fixed on the engineer concerned, and strict action will be taken against him, said Shri Singh.
The Commissioner said that the proposed public hearing center in Mansarovar will be developed as a model. It will be developed with modern facilities, keeping in mind all the needs of the citizens. He said that as per the wishes of the Honorable Chief Minister, the officers and employees should come to the office on time and work with full dedication to serve the citizens. Shri Singh also gave special instructions to maintain cleanliness in all the offices of the housing board.
